Huawei launches Nova 2s with 6-inch display and 4 Cameras

Huawei has launched their new device called Nova 2s in China. This device has just come up after the launch of their last one called Honor V10.

Nova 2s is the successor of last year Nova and Nova Plus smartphones from Huawei. They have 5-inch and 5.5- inch display with Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor.


Huwaei Nova 2s features a 6-inch 18:9 aspect ratio display with (1080 × 2160 pixels). The device has a fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button.

The device has a dual camera setup on the rear side, 20MP & 16MP sensors on the rear with f/1.8 aperture. For taking selfies and video call they have a combination of 20MP & 2MP dual camera setup on the front with f/2.0 aperture.

Under the hood, Nova 2s packs own Huawei-made Kirin 960 processor along with 64 GB / 128 GB of internal storage and 4 GB / 6 GB of RAM.

The device has a 3,340 mAh battery with fast charging support, and a hybrid dual-SIM card support (two SIM cards or one SIM card + one microSD card), and a dedicated 3.5 mm headphone jack.

The Nova 2s is running on Android 8.0 Oreo powered by EMUI 8.0 out of the box.

Huawei Nova 2s price and Availability

Nova 2s will be available in Black, Grey, Red, Rose Gold and Blue. The Price of the base version of the device (4GB + 64GB) is (¥ 2699 ~ $ 400).

Huawei will also release a special edition of the device called the Yixing Zhang Special Edition. The device named after the Chinese entertainer and comes with 6 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage, an album, ringtones, and more. It’ll run 3399 yuan (~$500) and hits store shelves at the end of the month.
